As the İDMA International Fair hereinafter referred to as the “İDMA”, with the title of data controller as defined by the Personal Data Protection Law (“the Law”), we consider to keep the safety of your personal data. Therefore, we would like to inform you about processing your personal data.
Your personal data is processed for the purposes and legal reasons stated below in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698 and the secondary regulations.
Your personal data that falls in the category of “Identity Information, Contact Information” which has been obtained in order to carry out expo activities; In compliance with the legitimate interest of the data controller as part of the Article 5/2-f of the Law numbered 6698 for the purposes of registering you to the expo, allowing your entrance to the expo and contacting you, Your personal data, namely your identity and contact information, will be processed in order to send commercial electronic messages in compliance with the legal reason “explicit consent of the person in question” stated in Article 5/1 of the Law numbered 6698, provided that you have given your approval according to The Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce numbered 6563 and the secondary regulations.
İDMA may share your personal data for the purposes stated above with its domestic and/or foreign associates and subsidiaries (and/or third party business associates which are necessary for carrying out the operation),as well as with the Ministry of Trade, The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, İleti Yönetim Sistemi A.Ş., system and infrastructure suppliers in compliance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, provided that you have given your approval according to The Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce numbered 6563 and the secondary regulations.
İDMA collects your personal data by means of online invitation form which can be found on the website. Also, your personal data is collected when you contact İDMA through other methods and disclose them.
Your personal data will be processed and stored in line with the statement in the law, in compliance with the legitimate interest of the data collector as part of Article 5 of the Personal Data Protection law numbered 6698. In this context, your personal data will be processed and stored with the purposes and methods stated above in compliance with the Law, provided that the statement in the law in effect.
As the data owner, if you submit an application to İDMA and request to exercise your rights stated in Article 11 of the law numbered 6998 in compliance with the application procedures determined by the Notice On The Principles And Procedures For The Request To Data Controller, your request will be fulfilled as soon as possible within 30 (thirty) days according to the nature of your request. However, if your procedure requires any additional fees, İDMA may charge a fee according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
